Calar Alto 2001

On January 2001 I had the opportunity to observe at the professional spanish 1,5m-Ritchey-Chretien, a teleskope of the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional (OAN) located at Calar Alto, Spain. The proposal for the observing time was submitted by Thomas Müller (the Astronomer not the Soccer Player) from Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik, Garching. For that observing week I was on site together with the PhD student Fernando Rodriguez from Garching and other amateur astronomers from the Starkenburg-Observatory Heppenheim, Germany. During that campain we observed some NEOs and discovered the minor planets (94223) and (247170) on Jan. 16. and 17.
